Welcome to the website for the Center Point-Urbana Intermediate Elementary School in Urbana.
The CPU Intermediate Elementary School serves approximately 350 students in grades 3-5. Third and fourth grade classrooms are self-contained. The fifth grade students rotate between three classrooms throughout the day for their core instruction. All intermediate elementary students have physical education, music and art class once a week. Media classes, keyboarding and guidance lessons are also taught throughout the school year.
The CPU district has a strong tradition of excellence. Success in a school district does not come without parent and community involvement. I have been amazed at the support the school district receives during my three years as a principal in the CPU district. It is a privilege and a pleasure to be a part of a community that works together to ensure the success of every child.
