 Listed below is important information about upcoming meetings for kindergarten registration for the 2012/2013 school year.

Kindergarten Registration Information

Registration time is here! If you have a youngster or know of one who will be eligible for 2012-13 Kindergarten, please call 849-1102, ext. 5100 or e-mail ccallahan@cpuschools.org with this information:

• Child’s full legal name
• Child’s date of birth  Both parent’s names
• Address
• Phone number  

**If your child is already enrolled in our preschool program, you do not need to contact us.**

Please be aware that a child must be five (5) years old on or before September 15, 2012, to be eligible for Kindergarten or Alternate Kindergarten.

A parent meeting for the 2012-2013 school year will be held on March 6^th at 9:00 am and 7:00 pm at the Primary Building. Parents may choose which meeting to attend. Each meeting will last about an hour.

Character Counts Assemblies

Each month students will be recognized for their efforts toward a certain character. In February we will be recognizing Caring. That assembly will be held on Thursday, February 23rd at 2:30 in the north gym.

When your child has been chosen for their efforts, they will be recognized at the assembly and they will have the opportunity to eat lunch with me the next week along with the other students who were recognized.

Your child’s teacher will contact you ahead of time to let you know your child will be recognized. Our goal is for each child to be recognized throughout the year for their efforts toward showing quality character throughout their day.
